Frankly, I believe the people who think the word "reneger" is racist are ignorant. Not stupid, just have no idea what the word is or means. It is a very clever use of a word that is not used much anymore. And the pronunciation in the song was very clear, unlike how some people say it who don't know any better ... usually people say "I renigged" on something. They have no idea that they aren't even pronouncing the word properly. Or course, in today's "tolerant" world, anytime you say something against any person of color, you are labeled a racist. It's a very tired argument.
